Rev. R.R. Tavárez – Senior Pastor  [he / him]

Rev. R.R. Tavárez earned a dual bachelor’s degree from Kuyper College in Bible Theology and International Business & Marketing. He later graduated from Calvin Theological Seminary earning an M.Div with a concentration in Missions. He has served as a preacher, church planter, church revitalizer, leadership trainer, non-profit director, and mentor. As a pastor, Rev. Tavárez remains passionate about making disciples, and equipping them with cross-cultural skills, while advocating for those pushed to the margins of society.

Rev. Lin Stoner – Pastor of Congregational Care  [she/her]

Rev. Lin is a retired pastor from the Metropolitan Community Churches or the MCC. She was the founding pastor of Redeemer MCC in Flint, Michigan and served as pastor there for 15 years. She also pastored Reconciliation MCC in Grand Rapids for 10 years. Rev. Lin served the MCC Fellowship as North Area coordinator for several years. While Rev. Lin remains a member of the MCC, she is also a member of En Vivo Church. She uses her gifts in pastoral-care, counseling, and other areas of pastoral leadership to serve our community.

Rev. Shannon Jammal-Hollemans – Pastor of Teaching  [she/her]

Rev. Shannon is a graduate of Grand Valley State Univeristy and Calvin Theological Seminary, where she earned her M. Div degree. She brings powerful yet relatable preaching to every context she serves. Her experience includes involvment in ecumenical and interfaith relations, racial and social justice, faith formation, and teaching university courses in intercultural studies. She is married to Kevin and they have three grown children.

Erin Mieskowski – Worship Coordinator  [she/they]

An Illinois native, Erin considers herself a Michigan transplant. Born and raised in Freeport, Illinois, she became involved with music in her church, school, and community as early as she could. After making the IL All-State choir in high school, she attended Hope College and earned a B.A in Music. Erin moved to Grand Rapids and has continued to be musically engaged, singing with national recording artists, church groups, and community choirs in West Michigan. She believes worship engages the whole body and mind. Erin’s passion for worship extends beyond music, to creative communications, diversity training and advocacy.

Daniel Paul Drent – Outreach Coordinator  [he/him]

Originally from the Belding area, Daniel settled in Grand Rapids in 2012. He’s been a activist in various arenas, including fair housing and in ending discrimination for the Queer community. He has an Associate Degree from Lansing Community College focused on legal studies. While raised a Catholic, he has found a home at En Vivo Church and is passionate about En Vivo being a safe and welcoming space for all.

Rae Mieskowski – Pastoral Intern  [he/him]

Born and raised in Grand Rapids, Rae attended Union High School, then Michigan State University earning a Bachelor’s in Sociology. Rae has worked in patient care for 8 years. He attends Chicago Theological Seminary in pursuit of a career in ministry and preaching, as part of a life-long calling to serve God and God’s people.
